sometimes making paintings without sketching first, is a good way for me to loosen up. This painting was made with alot of pre-mixed colors that I had left over from previous pieces. The heart shape was something I had cut out of board that I was going to use for a gallery show, but never did. So I guess you could say it was made out of recycled art projects.

above is one of the only pictures i have of a mighty mugg toy that I had painted for my solo show at trickgo in december. unfortunately the toy was stolen from the gallery the night of the opening. : (

I do all of my painting out of my studio I have set up in the living room of my home.

keeping busy

Having just graduated a few months ago, I'm finally feeling the slight sense of panic that what I choose do to with my art now is going to make or break me in terms of starting a freelance career. So I decided to revamp my webpage, because I wanted to achieve a more fun and professional look than the current one has. Until that is completed I am just having fun experimenting with painting different things.
