my first tear sheet

i recently had the pleasure of doing an editorial piece for the october fashion issue of grid magazine.. which is an environmental and sustainable living magazine in philadelphia. The article, written by a designer, was about using sustainable fibers to make clothing. Grid features an illustration on the back page of every monthly issue.

vacation.

the first two weeks of this past month, my boyfriend and i took a road trip through indiana, south dakota, yellowstone (montana and wyoming), and north dakota. i must say i never realized how inspiring this country could be. i am sure lots of art will come out of this experience in the near future.

in north dakota we got to interact with alot of horses that my friend was training, it was great!

ABCs

I am now working on a series of pieces for a solo show I will have at Mugshots, a coffee shop in located in Manayunk, in October. I am doing 26 new pieces all featuring a letter in the alphabet. Some work is going to be pen and ink, some acrylic paintings. I am excited as I love doing hand lettering!
